Excellent music to work to!
Not much to this Substack, just a little song collecting. Don’t mind me.
I rarely add to playlists or add to favorites mostly because I forget to do it, except in those rare occasions like this nice playlist. I’m working on a few websites right now and had to share how nice it’s been as a somewhat ambient Nordic-inspired background to my work.
Music with too many lyrics.
I’m sure there’s others like me who can’t really stand music with lyrics when they’re reading or working. For those moments, something ambient is a lot more suitable for me. Either that, or putting a movie on in the background instead of music and avoiding the problem altogether. This is a great three-hour playlist that will have you imagining snowy mountains, large elks walking along the frozen tundra, massive wooden ships sailing against the wind with oars the size of wild boar, and kings shouting to their brothers in the heat of battle. It’s excellent for working on things like websites or writing an exciting scene or two.
