Time keeps taking. We keep giving.
I want to freeze my wife Ashley.
This year we lost Uncle Paul just a week ago and it’s like there’s a constant reminder that the wheels keep on turning no matter who drives the bus. We lost Ashley’s Grandma last year and losing her mom was the catalyst to moving here to Tennessee in the first place. We’ve also met some lovely people in our new small group, Ashley has connected with women of faith at church, we both have jobs when many don’t, we have a home when many don’t, and we’re generally healthy and blessed with freedoms that we take for granted every day. Life is good and we continue to see that play out in ways we didn’t expect.
God works in all things and I see how we’ve both been able to feel and see God’s presence here on our property every single day. God continues to show up.
He shows up and shows us how to show up, for ourselves and for each other. The view below is from our backyard, where we get to see all the ways nature plays out a symphony of colors like a ballad to our Creator. Ashley reminds me all the time of how blessed we are and I can’t agree more. I’m blessed for being in this life with her, doing life with her, enjoying learning who we are together.
I’m constantly in awe of the faith and resilience that this beautiful woman displays, and how she carries herself through the worries of the world.
Happy Birthday !!!!
